L-citrulline is an amino acid that is converted to L-arginine shortly after it enters the body. Contrary to the general belief, L-citrulline is more effective than L-arginine. Besides, arginine has an extremely low absorption rate. Therefore, we use only citrulline that is converted to arginine and supports nitric oxide production and pumping during exercise. Nitric oxide plays an important role in vasodilation and blood circulation.
